![]() In Maximum mode, the card's name, level, attribute and type are the one of the center monster. They become unable to be in defence position (like Links) but their atk is replaced with the Maximum atk printed above the regular atk on the center monster. This also puts the components in Maximum Mode, which means the following things : You maximum summon by placing the 3 cards from your hand on the field in a way that the card is on the left, the level 10 is in the center and the on the right side Like this : in Rush Duels you send all monsters you control to the GY to make space on the board because it uses up all your monster zones, but I could see you being allowed to chose what 3 monster zones in a horizontal line to clear for space for it in Master Duels. Having all 3 pieces in your hand allows you to maximum summon them. The central piece has been a level 10 and the side pieces have been level 4 so far. Each one can be normal or special summoned like most monsters, but it would only have it's non-maximum mode effects (note: it's still an effect monster even though it would effectively be a normal by itself - the ones seen until now don't have effects they can use by themselves). Konami's Remote Duel Discord Server Unofficial Simulators SimulatorĮpisode availablity and sub/dub status may differ between websites.Īnime context : For those that don't watch Seven, maximum summoning is Rush Duel-exclusive summoning mechanic introduced during the Maximum Arc of Yugioh Sevens, where it was created by Neiru Saionji and added into a gap Yuga Ohdo (the in-universe creator of Rush Duels) left inside the code (IMO a very nice explanation, because it allows Konami to actually give a reasonable explanation for other mechanics appearing in Rush Duels as being just ported over from Master Duel or being just coded in by somebody )Ī maximum monster is made from 3 cards that share the same name but one has and one at the end.Įach one of these cards has effects that require it to be in maximum mode.
